Building your home starts with choosing the design that fits your style and budget. We partner with architects that can provide you with a plan or help you design a custom plan
to suit your specific needs.
Once you have decided on a plan, we will give you a preliminary estimate of the build cost. This can serve as a guideline when choosing your finishes.
Once you have the plan and estimate, we provide suppliers who help you choose everything from your plumbing fixtures to cabinets to flooring. We then work with you to complete a specifications worksheet that covers every aspect of the building process. All options are chosen at this time. This serves as a worksheet for the entire building process. Our specifications worksheet has been an effective tool to reduce errors and eliminate the need for stressful last minute decisions.
We are then able to give you a revised cost estimate based on the styles you have chosen. At this time we will sign a building contract with you.
Once the contract is signed, the final touches are put on the plan from the architect and the engineering and permitting process is started. From this point forward, you can relax and know the building process is in the hands of experienced professionals. We believe communication is key to eliminating stress during the building process. We use e-mail and other technology to keep you updated and answer questions throughout the building process. The building process can take from five to twelve months depending on the size and complexity of the house.
